Xfmea Enterprise is a client-server application in which a client application is installed on each user's
computer. In order to use the software, each user must connect with a centralized database that has been installed on a network server.
Server Requirements

Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000 Server with Service Pack 1 (SP1) or later, Windows NT® Server 4.0 with Service Pack 5 (SP5), Windows XP
Professional, Windows XP Home Edition or Windows 2000 Professional.

Microsoft SQL Server 2000
or 2005.

If necessary, ReliaSoft can assist you in purchasing and deploying SQL Server. (ReliaSoft is a Microsoft Certified Partner and authorized Microsoft reseller.)

Although the Standard or Enterprise editions of
SQL Server are recommended for large implementations, the
software is also compatible with
SQL Server 2005 Express Edition, which is distributed at
no cost by Microsoft, if SQL Server has been configured to allow
remote connections.

Most RAID 5 compatible servers that you can buy
today will have more than enough power to handle up to 100 users of
this system. Our minimum recommendation for the server is the
following: Pentium 4 at 2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 3 - 10,000 rpm SCSI
drives configured in Raid 5, and some kind of back-up tape drive.
Client Requirements
- Windows 2000, NT and XP.
- Microsoft Office 2000 or 2003 (Excel and Word) for automated
report generation.
- 433 MHz Intel Pentium class processor, or an AMD Opteron, AMD
Athlon64 or AMD Athlon XP processor with 96MB RAM (256MB or more is
recommended), SVGA display and at least
290MB
of hard disk space.

- Network access to the database server.
